Our Church
St Andrew’s Psalter Lane Church in Nether Edge, Sheffield is an Angligan Methodist Ecumenical Partnership.

Worship
Our worship style is a combination of our Anglican and Methodist traditions. We have hymns with the organ and piano. We have a regular junior church.
We have a communion open to all who wish to join.
Community
Our church community is made of variety of people from Nether Edge and further afield. We have an Eco Group, a Junior Church, a Justice and Peace Group and an Interfaith Group.
We run certain types of events that characterise who we are and how we engage with our local community.
Space
Our historic building is an important part of our place at the heart of the Nether Edge community. It is used for worship, music, thought, drama, film and connection.
It can be hired commercially as a superb rehearsal or event space.
You Are Included.
We are an inclusive church.
We are ecumenical. A Methodist and Anglican partnership.
We try to keep our minds and hearts open, as far as possible, to the world around us.
We challenge ourselves to provide Radical Hospitality to everyone who comes into contact with us and through our building’s doors.
We are an Eco Church.
Accredited with A Rocha UK Silver Status.
We seek to promote ecologically responsible ways of living, and have achieved two 'Eco-Congregation' Awards and a silver 'Eco Church' Award.
We continually strive to reduce the impact we make on our precious earth, and support our community to do the same.
A screening of "How to Tame Your Dragon" (2010, PG) in the Church, with refreshments and craft activities available.
Everyone welcome to come and knit, sew, craft or just chat and enjoy a drink and a slice of cake.
The café is for those living at home with memory loss and their carers, and older people living alone.

The format of the service includes a study passage read by the person who chose it, followed by discussion of the passage.

Children and Families Movie Afternoon: Sunday 18 January, 3.00 - 5.30 pm, in the Church.

The Eco Group has purchased a hedgehog house which Bill Atherton has built and placed in the compound at church.
We are hosting a Repair Café event in church, from 10.00 am – 2.00 pm on Saturday 24th January - and we need YOUR help!
Join us at 6.00 pm on Sunday evening for this very special service of readings and carols offered by the beauty of candlelight.
