Posada at St Andrews Psalter Lane Church
‘Posada’ (Spanish for ‘inn’) is a Christmas activity running through Advent. Mary and Joseph travel around different households and stay there for one night.
Lots of people find it’s a great way to be involved in the Christmas story - and to make room for Jesus at Christmas time!
On Christmas eve, the figures are returned to church, during Christingle, as everyone gets ready to welcome the Christ child once again.
