House Groups
House Groups are an important part of our church life and fellowship. By meeting for small group discussion in people’s homes, we form deeper relationships and further our understanding of our faith.
We currently have 3 house groups at St Andrew’s, which meet at different times and in different ways.
During Lent, the daytime and evening groups will be using Draw Near: Life-giving habits for Lent, a Lenten resource produced by the Church of England. Reflections are centred around a summary of the Christian Way from Common Worship, which identifies six activities essential to our calling as disciples. You can find out more about this resource here.
The daytime housegroup will meet weekly on Friday at 2.00 pm in Room 3 in Shirley House.
The evening group will meet weekly on Wednesday at 7.30 pm, in members’ homes.
The third group usually meets on the first Sunday of the month at 7.45 pm at 61 Southgrove Road. Next meeting Sunday 1 March. Sessions are flexible and facilitated by members of the group on different topics.
We would love to welcome more members!
