March events at City of Sanctuary

12 March   International Women’s Day Celebration (from 6pm), Join us to celebrate, share food from different cultures, and enjoy beautiful henna activities. Children welcome.

16 March  Lift the Ban Monthly Meeting (5:30pm–7:30 pm). Travel covered, food provided, translators needed. Come together to call to lift the ban on work for people seeking asylum.

17 March   British Red Cross: Asylum Journey (Starts at 1pm). Informative session covering the asylum process, your legal rights, and the support services available.

24 March  Understanding Iran Protests: Domestic and International Perspectives (6.30pm-8.30pm) Panel featuring diverse perspectives on the current protests in Iran. Experts and people with lived experience will discuss what is happening in Iran and the implications of that for Iran and the world. At the University of Sheffield.
