Posada at St Andrews Psalter Lane Church

Mary and Joseph have started their journey, and have been seen on Facebook!

‘Posada’ (Spanish for ‘inn’) is a Christmas activity running through Advent. 

People sign up in advance, offering to host Mary and Joseph for a night. It’s open to everyone, and

lots of people find it’s a great way to be involved in the Christmas story and a chance to host Mary and Joseph – to make room for Jesus at Christmas time!

On Christmas eve, the figures will return to church, during Christingle, as everyone gets ready to welcome the Christ child once again.
